2014 “Wo-matter” in Haapsalu City Gallery

Wo-MATTER = Substance = Matter = Womanly/Female material
She is stable and variable as canvas,
reflective and self-conscious as folium, flattering and gloomy as latex.
Painstakingly blending into predetermined frames. Almost not fitting in.
The exhibition Wo-MATTER is about cognitive and unconscious existence of Self.
Human matter of existence is extremely similar to abstract dream, which would become banal due to the one-to-one description and analysis of it.
Therefore I depict Wo-MATTER in my allegoric pictures, which express the feeling, not the knowledge.
MATTER became Wo-MATTER through the medium of charcoal and pencil drawing.
