VIPs appeared in the 90’s. Some came “out of the closet.” In society, they became more equal than equals. “What is promised to Zeus is not allowed to the ox.”
The drawn, mixed media works, which are exhibited in the Art & Tonic gallery, were in the exhibition “Fine Forms” in 1992, which I made with Marko Mäetamm in the gallery Pikk str 7 in Tallinn.
This exhibition could be called my pre-collage period.
Collages from the IIDOLITE series began in 1993, when the exhibition “IIDOLID I” took place at the Vaal Gallery.
In the Art & Tonik gallery you can see a selection of collages from 1993 – 1995.
