Sea and land have always been opposing materials, their moments of contact are inspiring and exciting.
Reflections that make something firm and tangible playful and barely perceptible have made me grab my brush and “peck” at these barely catchable images for days.
Water is the greatest creator in my paintings, I just try to keep up with him. With its earthy painting equipment.
I started painting works with a water view in 2016.
The paintings have reflections that have been “captured” from Venice, Riga, Hamburg, Hvar (Croatia).
What makes these views charmingly abstract and picturesque is the same sea that also spills the Estonian beach.
